hehe i haven’t posted lately but this is for all my boys:)

i have no reason for not posting.. nothing amazing has happened.. no new job.. no exciting revelations.. I did the light the night walk with robbie and shannon a few weeks ago. that was fun and it was so nice to see them.  getting ready for halloween. I don’ t know how many kids i will get at my house, but i’m hoping for a lot >:)  Halloween is my favorite holiday.. other than that.. totally sucked into second life still… if you are too, leave me a comment and i’ll let you know who i am on there

I haven’t posted anythign in a while because my blog and email were being moved to an online server so they won’t go down if there’s ever a problem at the wonderful jamie’s house.  So sorry for the lack of posting, but it’s not like i would have written anything interesting anyway.

This weekend I went down to Little Italy for the Festival of saint-someone-or-other with Heather and her family. It was a great time even tho it was raining for most of it. There were meatballs a plenty and A LOT of old Italian people. Who’s going to run this festival when they pass away, that’s what I’d like to know.

We played quarter bingo and after four dollars, I did not win. So sad. Rachel won a whopping 7.50 tho and her dad won an impressive $12.

There was food _everywhere_ and when i saw the pizzelle table, my eyes lit up. I love pizzelles, and hopped in line to buy some. they’re not hard to make, they’re just tedious because you have to use a special iron to make them and it takes forever because you can only make them 2 at a time.

VERY DISAPPOINTING! I was hoping to eat one and have it taste like my grandmothers, and it didn’t. As a matter of fact, it didn’t taste like much of anything. and they were hard and thick and chewy. Mine are actually better. I could scarcely believe it! Mine are thin and crispy and melt in your mouth with loads of anise flavor… mmmmm… yummy. Maybe closer to the holidays I’ll post a step by step photo blog of them being made. without of course, revealing my recipe!
